When your child is young it is a great time to experiment with their own sense of personal style. You, as the parent, want to see what works for your child but you want them to be happy with it. So if you are interested in getting funky with your child’s hair and wardrobe, here are some tips that you can follow.
Be Mindful
Remember that whatever you do with your child is something that you should be willing to do yourself. While you want your child to be unafraid to express themself, you have to be aware of their own sense of boundaries and you wouldn’t want to do anything that they wouldn’t want you to do. But once you know that they are trusting in your judgment, you can have a little fun.
Hair Play
Have fun with their hair. Make sure you go against the grain. If they have long hair, make the most of it and see if you can style it in different ways. Try blow drying it and putting it up. It’s okay to use very little product, but take advantage of hair ties and even hats.
